As some of you may know my husband just got out of ICU yesterday evening. He is now on the medical floor. All of this due to severe vertigo. :( We still don't know what the problem is--but hope to have some more answers soon. Thanks for your patience and understanding everyone while we deal with this.

  1. I'm sorry to hear you're dealing with this. My husband had severe vertigo last year, and no one could find out why. For 6 weeks he lay in bed... We have a family member who is an Upper Cervical Chiropractor, and he was certain that my husband needed his atlas/axis adjusted. We found one in our area, and sure enough, he had a bone out of alignment that was going to the auditory canal (that also regulates balance). He had received chiropractic from another source, but it was only seeing the Upper Cervical specialist that helped him. After two visits, his vertigo began to go away. I hope that he finds the source of his issue, but if it your doctors are not able, please consider seeking out upper cervical in your area. Here is the national website, http://www.nucca.org/

  2. Our Nucca Chiro was the 2nd person we saw. :) Unfortunately it hasn't helped with the vertigo--so we are off to another neurologist next week. Wish us luck. Some answers would be fabulous right now. Thanks so much for your kind message!
